The Energy Storage Research Laboratory (ESRL) is dedicated to advancing the science and technology of sustainable energy storage systems. Our research focuses on developing cutting-edge materials and devices for electrochemical energy storage, including Li/Na-ion batteries, supercapacitors, hybrid capacitors, and Li/Na-sulphur batteries. We specialize in solid-state chemistry, nanomaterials, and nanotechnology, aiming to enhance the performance, safety, and sustainability of next-generation energy solutions. With a commitment to innovation, we explore carbon and metal oxide materials, prototype device fabrication, and comprehensive characterization and validation techniques.
